What is URL Shortener?

Including links in your campaigns cost a lot of precious characters that could be used for your text message instead. It is therefore important to shorten a link as much as possible. Our URL shortener serves great for this purpose as it can shorten any longer link substantially.

How do I create a new short URL?

To create a new short URL:

1. Go to the second step of the SMS campaign
2. Expand the URL shortener menu below the typing window
3. Select New short URL if not selected
4. Enter the URL you want to shorten
5. Select a short domain
6. Click Create
7. A new shortened URL has been added to your list of URLs
8. To insert a shortened URL into your campaign, click on the green highlighted URL next to your link or use the Insert to text icon from the menu on the right
9. Use the Edit icon to edit
10. Use the Delete icon to remove the address from the list

How do I add existing short URL to my campaign?

To add existing short URL to your campaign:

1. Go to the second step of the SMS campaign
2. Expand the URL shortener menu below the typing window
3. Select Existing short URL
4. Select which existing short URLs you want to paste into your campaign and click Add
5. To paste a short URL into your campaign, click the Paste into text icon from the menu to the right of the link or the green highlighted URL in your address list

How do I add a file to my campaign?

1. Go to the second step of the SMS campaign
2. Expand the URL shortener menu below the compose window
3. Select Add file
4. Select the file you want to insert into your campaign
5. Expand the Expiration time menu and select the file expiration time
6. Expand the Short Domain menu and select a short domain
7. Click Upload
8. To insert a link to a file into your campaign, click the Paste into text icon from the menu to the right of the link or the green highlighted URL in your address list
