Working with individual groups
How can I work with individual groups in my address book?
You can perform several different actions with each group in your directory. In the row with the group, you will find several icons for these actions on the right side.
Edit group
To edit a group:
- In the left menu (in sidebar) go to
Address book->Groups
- On the row with the selected group you want to edit, click the
Edit group
icon (pencil symbol) - Here you can edit the icon, color, name, description and group identifier.
- Click on the
Save
button when all changes have been made.
Import contacts
To import contacts into the group:
- In the left menu (in sidebar) go to
Address book->Groups
- In the row with the selected group you want to import contacts to, click on the
Import contacts
icon (downward pointing arrow symbol). - Click the
Import contacts
button at the top right. - Select the contacts file you want to import into your group (supported formats: .csv, .txt, .ods, .xlsx, .xls, .vcf)
- Define the meaning of each column. The data from these columns can later be used as variables for message personalization Selecting a column containing mobile phone numbers is mandatory. You can use the values in the column you mark as
<Groups>
as identifiers for sorting into groups. Later, when adding groups, you can enter a value from the<Groups>
column in theIdentifier
field, by which contacts with the same identifier will be sorted - Click
Next
. - Assign a country to your contacts. This will automatically add the prefix of the selected country to all your contacts that have a number in national format only. Any numbers you have in international format will remain unchanged. For example, a number in the local format
777 888 555
will look like this when converted to the international format:+420 777 888 555
- Click
Next
- Leave the selected group in the
Groups
field (you can select other groups if you wish, or create a new group) - Click
Next
. - Select to update, overwrite or skip duplicate contacts if they exist. A duplicate contact is a contact whose phone number, when converted to international format, is identical to a contact in the address book
- Click
Import contacts
. - Your contacts have been successfully imported. If you want you can continue to import contacts from other files
Remove all contacts from a group
To remove all contacts from the group:
- In the left menu (in sidebar) go to
Address book->Groups
- In the row with the selected group from which you want to remove contacts, click on the icon

Delete group
To delete a group from your address book:
- Go to
Address book->Groups
in the left menu (in sidebar) - In the row with the group you want to delete, click on the
Delete group
icon (trash can symbol) and confirm that you know what you are doing - Click
