Importing contacts to address book
How do I import contacts into my address book?
To import contacts into your address book:
- In the left menu (in sidebar) go to
Address book->All contacts
- Click
Import contacts
button. Depending on the viewport, it may be hidden under theMore actions
button (the symbol of three dots above each other) - Select the file with contacts you want to import to your address book (supported formats: .csv, .txt, .ods, .xlsx, .xls, .vcf)
- Assign a meaning to any column you want. Data from these columns can later be used as variables for message personalization. The selection of a column containing mobile phone numbers is mandatory. You can use the values in the column that you mark as
<Groups>
as identifiers for sorting into groups. Later, when adding groups, you can enter a value from the<Groups>
column in theIdentifier
field, by which contacts with the same identifier will be sorted - Click

- Assign the country to your contacts. This will automatically add the country prefix of your chosen country to all your recipients who only have the number in the national format. All numbers you have in the international format will remain unchanged. For example, a number in local format
777 888 555
would look like this when converted to international format:+420 777 888 555
- Click
Next
- Select if you want to add contacts to an existing group or to a new one. You can leave these unchecked
- Click
Next
- Choose whether to update, overwrite or skip duplicate contacts if they exist. A duplicate contact is a contact whose phone number, when converted to international format, is identical to a contact in the address book
- Click
Import contacts
- Your contacts have been successfully imported. You can continue importing contacts from other files if you wish
